Dehaney Nia Lishahn Hunt (born September 1999), known professionally as Nia Archives, is an English record producer, DJ, singer and songwriter. Born in Bradford in West Yorkshire, she moved to Leeds aged seven, out of the family home aged sixteen, and then to Greater Manchester, during which time she was inspired by jungle documentaries and the women within them.
After moving to Hackney Wick for university, Hunt attracted attention for the self-released EPs Headz Gone West (2021), Forbidden Feelingz (2022) and Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against the Wall (2023), the latter of which topped the UK Dance Albums Chart. Hunt released her debut album Silence Is Loud in 2024 through Island, which peaked at No. 16 on the UK Albums Chart.
Hunt is generally regarded as being at the forefront of the post-2020 drum and bass revival. When producing, Hunt takes inspiration from the classic era of jungle, between 1992 and 1996. She is massively inspired by Burial; in an interview with Crack in November 2022, she stated that she first discovered his album Untrue (2007) when she was "17 or 18" and listened to the album on loop after moving to London, that she submitted an essay about him while at university, that she was specifically inspired by the personality he put into his work, and that she was inspired to sample Columbo and "Young Lover" on "Forbidden Feelingz" and "18 & Over" by him.

Primo - Scared of Love (feat. Jordan F) • Synthwave and Chill Reaction

Primo the Alien is an Austin-based synthpop/ retrowave/ synthwave artist and producer. Primo writes and produces each song, herself, with a unique blend of humor and drama that leaves listeners captivated. Her wild tales of epic showdowns, interplanetary tourism, and hyper-sensual scenarios are guaranteed to make you feel like you’re living in 1987... if 1987 was a dangerously sexy, post-apocalyptic wasteland complete with kick-ass parties, flying motorcycles, and lots of glitter.
The wings of this retro rainbow Pegasus are Primo’s signature powerhouse vocals. Primo sings with urgency, from the gut, hitting notes so high you’ll wonder if she’s hiding a soprano sax in her throat. With eccentric bravado, compelling intensity, and colossal production style, Primo the Alien delivers the punch music fans of all genres have been oh-so-eagerly anticipating.

Jordan F is a producer from Sydney, who makes 80’s synthesizer music with a modern fidelity. Starting out at the beginning of the second wave of Dreamwave artists. Jordan quickly rose through the ranks, showing himself as a producer with enhanced musicality and a knack for retro flair without the constrictions of genre.

Niki & The Dove - You Want The Sun (Audio)

Niki & The Dove is a band from Stockholm, Sweden with two members, Malin Dahlström and Gustaf Karlöf. Getting together in February 2010, Malin and Gustaf have spent the time since writing together, figuring out just how pop music works and then discovering new ways to break it.
Their first single “DJ, Ease My Mind” b/w “Under the Bridges” released on leading UK independent Moshi Moshi, was one of the most striking debuts of the year, catching the attention of everyone from Artrocker and NME through to The Sunday Times who declared the single could “be the two greatest alt-pop songs of 2010.” And if “DJ, Ease My Mind,” revealed a band with a precociously fully-formed sound, their self-released follow up “Mother Protect” shows that Niki & The Dove are truly poised for great things. A riotous collision of barely constrained electronic pop overlaid with Malin’s distinctive, glacial vocals, “Mother Protect” confirmed Niki & The Dove as a truly unique talent and ones to watch.

Vansire - That I Miss You (Official Music Video)

Vansire formed as band members Josh Augustin (vocals, synths, guitar, and drums) and Sam Winemiller (bass, guitar, and synths) were attending Century High School in Rochester, Minnesota. Augustin and Winemiller met while playing together on the school's drumline and continued to find themselves performing together through school activities (such as concert band and pit orchestra), something the duo says contributed to their creative synergy and friendship, which later helped in Vansire's formation.
In the summer of 2015, Winemiller approached Augustin after practice for the school's drumline with an idea to make a band "that sounds like Mac [DeMarco]". The pair's early recordings were made by holding instruments to the internal microphone of an iPad running GarageBand. Augustin and Winemiller, initially unsure of what to call their new project, turned to an online random word generator which landed on "vansire", an alternative name for the Marsh mongoose.
From there, the two continued to record together in their basements, living rooms, and bedrooms under the new Vansire moniker.

Grandaddy - "Cabin in My Mind" (Audio)

Grandaddy is an American indie rock band from Modesto, California. The group was formed in 1992, and featured Jason Lytle, Aaron Burtch, Jim Fairchild, Kevin Garcia and Tim Dryden, until Garcia's death in 2017 following a stroke.
After several self-released records and cassettes, the band signed to Will Records in the US and later the V2 Records subsidiary Big Cat Records in the UK, going on to sign an exclusive deal with V2. The bulk of the band's recorded output was the work of Lytle, who worked primarily in home studios.
Grandaddy released four studio albums before splitting in 2006, with band members going on to solo careers and other projects. Grandaddy reformed in 2012, and after several successful tours, released its fifth studio album, Last Place, in March 2017. Following Garcia's sudden death, the band cancelled its touring plans for the release and re-entered an extended hiatus.
In 2024, Lytle revived the Grandaddy name to release the project's sixth studio album, Blu Wav, ahead of a full 2025 reunion tour in celebration of the 25th anniversary of The Sophtware Slump.
