Del Rio · Ceephax Acid Crew - Baddow Moods

Andrew David Jenkinson, known professionally as Ceephax Acid Crew, is a British electronic musician and record producer who works primarily in the acid house and drum and bass subgenres, and is associated with the intelligent dance music world, but is also known for comedic presentation and stage presence. Jenkinson is also known simply by the pseudonym Ceephax, which is a reference to the BBC teletext service Ceefax. He is the younger brother of Squarepusher (Tom Jenkinson). Jenkinson became interested in music at 12 years old when he would go into his brother's room and play his brother's SH-101. He started a "joke" rock band called "C-Fax" which did "wobbly covers of nursery rhymes" while still in his teens; they only performed one show, but he kept the name for his later performances.
Ceephax's live shows are set apart from the popular laptop style of live electronic performance by exclusively using only analogue and early digital equipment and occasionally an Amiga computer. Frequently used hardware includes TB-303, TR-909, TR-707, SH-101, Kenton Pro-2000, and Yamaha RS7000. These sets range from house, acid house, techno, drum and bass, and gabber. He has also produced several music videos, predominantly using old video equipment and early computer animation software.

Auger - The Old Arcade (Official Video)
Auger - The Old Arcade (Official Video)
The Old Arcade is my most honest and personal release—an anthemic ballad about love, loss, and letting go. Built from deeply layered lyrics and swelling instrumentation, it tells a story that was never meant to have a happy ending. From fragile beginnings to a powerful crescendo, every detail reflects a goodbye I couldn’t avoid, and a truth I couldn’t change. "Even cowards are right 2 times a day, like weathered clocks above The Old Arcade".
Lyrics:
Take what you need
What’s yours is mine
I’ve been waiting for a long time
This wall is cold
My back is bare
How did I get here?
I only have myself to blame
I’ve already got one foot in the ground
Better watch my step
Better face the sound
Even cowards are right two times a day
Like weathered clocks
Above the old arcade
I have nothing but love for who you are
Inside and out, whether near or far
But even flowers must die despite our care
And believe me I cared
It’s just another day in the life
It’s just another way to survive
It’s yet another way to cope
I think I’m running out of air
And they are moving out the fair
It’s just a pale isolation
I think it’s time to go
Let everything work out
To leave behind what’s damaged
To push aside the clouds
When everything is taken
There’s nothing left but me
What’s the point of holding on if what is broken can’t be changed?
Believe me I care, believe me I cared
...

Mewing Pictures · Cat Temper - A Furwell to Kings

Cat Temper is the alias of Boston-based meowsician Mike Langlie, mixing retro Synthpop, Electro, Punk, Hair Metal, and the sounds of 8-bit videogames. He sits on the fringes of the Synthwave movement in a genre his fans have named "Meowave". Like the name implies, Cat Temper switches gears from friendly to ferocious in the blink of an eye or swish of a tail.
Since 2019 Cat Temper has released 18 albums, including imaginary sci-fi and horror soundtracks and an electronic re-score to David Lynch's cult classic film "Eraserhead".
Album and song titles come from a seemingly endless supply of cat puns, including homages to artists like Nine Inch Nails ("Kitty Hate Machine"), Meat Loaf ("Cat Out of Hell"), Judas Priest (“Purring for Vengeance”) and Duran Duran ("Furio").
